I can't say enough good things about Genesee Dental and the staff. I have been going there for many years and each time I walk in, to the time I leave, it's like I never left home....they treat you as part of their family. Everyone treats you with kindness, respect, compassion, etc. Each individual employed there is such a great asset and I feel very fortunate that I found them. They really do care about people and their smiles. Thank you again for all you have done and are doing for me. I highly recommend anyone looking for outstanding dentists and staff, excellent and reasonable dental work to give them a call. I am one very Happy, Satisfied customer!
Had an implant done by Dr. David Calos. Phenomenal job. He was patient and kind. Answered all of my questions. The girls up front were very polite and reminded me of each of my appointments. His assistants made me feel relaxed. Highly suggest Genesee Dental.
I would love to give more stars but unfortunately their poor billing department prevents me from doing so. My family were patients for many years. They fraudulently billed me and after an admittedly heated exchange with Debbie, afterwards called me a liar. I sent a letter via fax and mail to their office manager on September 26 regarding my conversations and request for accurate billing and here we are 2 months later...with no response. Now I have found that Debbie was billing all of my son's dental work to my husband and now he has no coverage left....cant get cavity filled or cleaning unless I pay out of pocket. I called Debbie on 11/17 and left a message to have her correct this immediately and return my call...2 weeks later still no response. I would not recommend going there until they find a more competent billing person and perhaps a new office manager since they do not respond to patient issues.
I have sufffered with dental problems for most of my life. I inherited my father's teeth, and they are very weak with little to no enamel. This makes me especially susceptible to cavities, and makes it difficult for fillings to "stick". Usually, within a year or two, I am back at the dentist getting a filling RE-filled.... I was told by several dentists (previously) that most likely by the time I was 40, re-filling would no longer be an option, because there wouldn't be much tooth left to work with...and I would eventually need to get them all pulled and get dentures. I believe I have seen every dentist in the surrounding area at one point or another (or at least it feels like it!), and I SO wish I had found Genesee Dental about 15 years ago, when the problems REALLY started! I just started going to them last year..and they have been AMAZING! I recently got all the top teeth (that were left) pulled, and the dentist and assistants have been incredible. No matter how many adjustments I need, or questions I have, they always take the time to make sure I am satisfied. My children both go there as well and they LOVE it there! You cannot imagine how awesome it is to actually have my children ENJOY to going to the dentist!! They are great with the kids, too--very understanding and patient and always make sure that whoever the patient is, is comfortable and calm. The TVs in each "area" are nice too, if you need a distraction. I have never waited more than 5 minutes for my appointment, and if by chance I have to reschedule, they are wonderful about switching, and make sure to get me in asap. If you call with questions or concerns, you get an answer the same day, and if you are in pain they make it a priority to get you in as quick as possible and taken care of. I could go on and on.....(well, I guess I have!)... but I just NEVER imagined I would EVER be able to NOT despise going to the dentist...... There simply aren't enough good things to say about Genesee Dental! They are fantastic, all around! :)
I've been going to Genesee Dental for a few years now. I absolutely love it there. I started going with my family and it went really well. I've had to have 2 molars taken out, 1 cap on a front tooth, and at least 3 fillings (unfortunately). Dr Calos is an awesome dentist. Every time I've seen him, he's always in an upbeat mood and calm, which helps me to chill out and relax. When I'm in a positive atmosphere, I be good. Only bad thing that I can say about this practice is that one of my fillings was very weird. Whenever I drank anything ice cold or quite warm, I'd feel it pop. Now, I don't know when it happened, but I know that half of that filling is gone, from it cracking in half (don't know how) and not knowing that it was gone until I felt at my tooth with my tongue. So, that is the only bad thing. The greatest dental practice I've ever been to, and hopefully the only one I'll have to see again!!! Love all the people that work there like family, and they treat me the same. Recommend all who are looking for amazing dentistry with a positive atmosphere to Genesee Dental!
