There are a variety of programs for kids but mostly geared for youngsters - pre-k through middle school. The kids programs are educational and entertaining.
How can you have people like that working for a public library discriminating others?
Big respect to our local library. Great selection for all ages. They've been ahead of the curve with modernization to the internet age and I'm excited to see them continue through my children's families.
For a public library being for the open public for everyone to go to and for children go to after school for their after school program it's a shame to see grown adults act the way they do. The adults will stand there in a group behind the checkout book center and talk badly about other people there and making people feel bad about themselves and they'll laugh about it... Not to mention these people are by far a dime piece to be talking about others, shame. This library use to be great and enjoyable to go to and now they hired complete inconsiderate individuals! Now you can't even learn or be able to enjoy yourself without hearing the workers gossip and judging others. Truly sad! Even the lady who owns the bake shop will walk around making up her face at people.. So disrespectful!
This is a nice small-town library with a decent reading selection and a good inter-library loan program.
There is an independent coffee shop inside, but don't expect to use this space for meetings. The library has a meeting room / conference room and if you're planning on sitting with a few people, they want you to rent this room rather than meeting in the library proper.
If I experience one more disrespect from this place I won't hesitate to make reports on this library.
This library is the worst-discriminating library I ever been to and to mention the workers there are very childish!!
Always a nice stop seems to have lots of activities for the young ones clean place nice staff
Once a month they host a used book sale in the basement which is excellent for just about any kind of reader - fiction, non-fiction, and even homeschoolers.
It's a wonderful learning experience for my 11yr & 4yr old boys. They enjoy all the activities available.
Staff is accessible and knowledgeable if not exactly gregarious.
